I count my lucky stars every day that I live in the same town as my mom. Even though we live really close to each other, we don’t get to see each other enough – we snatch a quick chat over a cup of tea, but quality mom and daughter time is few and far between. My parents are travel bugs, and they are more often away than at home. When my mom is ‘in residence’, we love to do lunch together. As I write this, she is away, and I am missing her terribly and imagining what we will do when she gets back.
